Chicago Restaurant Week 2010 (10

Everyone knows that Chicago has some of the best restaurants in the world. Chicago has famous diners, on-trend spots and countless hidden gems. There’s no better time to be a self-declared foodie than Chicago Restaurant Week, which gives everyone a chance to try over 160 restaurants at a discounted price.
The deal is three-course lunches at $22 and three-course dinners at $32. Not only do you get a discount, you get to try a range of things off the menu.

Imagine an old dining car that has been retired from the tracks and now rests on Irving Park Road. You can’t miss Diner Grill because of its bright white exterior that glows throughout the night. And, if you happen to be hungry at 3:00 in the morning, Diner Grill is just the spot because it is open 24 hours.

Topolobampo is Rick Bayless’ sister restaurant to XOCO and Frontera Grill; Frontera being the now 22-year-old acclaimed Mexican restaurant of Chicago. While Frontera opened in 1987, Topolobampo opened only 2 years later in 1989 after Bayless was awarded Food and Wine Magazine’s “Best New Chef of the Year” in 1988.
